Council Endorsed Camping Areas
The following camping areas are endorsed by the Baltimore Area Council for BSA unit-coordinated overnight camping activities.
Cub Scout packs are only permitted to plan pack-organized overnight campouts at locations on this list. Note that events run by a BSA district or council are not considered pack-organized.
Troops, Crews, and Ships are encouraged to use these sites, but may camp at any location not on this list that complies with the Guide to Safe Scouting.
Camping areas must be approved by the Baltimore Area Council Camping Committee to be added to this list. To suggest a camping area, please request a site visit using the form at the bottom. This form must be submitted at least 45 days in advance of any planned trip to the camping location.
